The rise of stunning Tara Lynn

Guess who's on the cover of Italian Vogue and French Elle? Tara is making her way to the top, and you know what, she deserves it. Amazing curvy girls! I love it.

"I was a size 14/16 in high school, and it wasn't the easiest thing," Lynn told NBCLA.

Lynn says she doesn't want you to feel sorry for her. She is, after all, a working model making a great living and gracing a popular magazine cover. In the modeling world Lynn's considered a "big girl," a label she doesn't take lightly and one that when she was younger hurt her feelings.

"As a 16, I definitely felt like my weight was holding me back. I was supposed to have these bones protruding from my body and clearly that's not the case, and not the way my body's meant to be," said Lynn.

It's a message she wants every young girl to hear, one of self-esteem and self-acceptance. She says she's proof that loving yourself wins.
