I have never been a huge fan of the roaring 20's style, but Ralph Lauren does it absolutely superbly!! Using feminine pinks and the softness of Mia Farrow in the Great Gatsby (which bombed in theatres in the 70's) he brings something special to the collection, makes it feel somehow relatable to girls today. I am thrilled to feel this inspired from a show, there are always a couple each season that do this to me. I love when designers make me see trends I don't like in a different light... it makes me love my job so much more. Looking forward to Dolce and Gabbana who have been killing it every single season lately.
